Early Life and Career

Luka Modric was born on September 9th, 1985 in Zadar, Croatia. His football journey began at a young age, where he played for local youth academies in his hometown. At the age of 16, he joined the youth academy of Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, where he would eventually rise through the ranks to make his senior debut in 2003.

International Career

Modric's international career with the Croatian national team began in 2006, and he quickly established himself as a key player for his country. He has played in four FIFA World Cups (2006, 2014, 2018, and 2022) and three UEFA European Championships (2008, 2012, and 2016). In 2018, he captained Croatia to their first-ever World Cup Final.

Club Career

After impressive performances with Dinamo Zagreb, Modric moved to English club Tottenham Hotspur in 2008. He spent four seasons with Tottenham, establishing himself as one of the top midfielders in the English Premier League. In 2012, he joined Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he has become an integral part of the team's success, winning numerous trophies including the UEFA Champions League five times.
