Whos Ahead in National Presidential Polls? Explore Poll Data on the Kentucky Governor Election:

In the race to lead Kentucky as governor, incumbent Democrat Andy Beshear holds a steady lead over Republican challenger Daniel Cameron, according to polling averages. As of February 28th, Beshear leads Cameron in RealClearPolitics polling averages by a margin of 49.7% to 39.3%. Beshear has consistently been polling ahead of Cameron throughout the election cycle. A recent poll by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, conducted from February 22-26th, gave Beshear a 12-point advantage over Cameron, with 51% of likely voters supporting Beshear and 39% supporting Cameron.

Beshear, who was elected in 2019, is seeking a second term in office. His first term has been marked by both challenges and accomplishments. He has been praised for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which included signing an executive order requiring state employees to get vaccinated or face termination.

Cameron, the state's attorney general, has been a vocal critic of Beshear's policies. He has pledged to roll back some of Beshear's executive actions if elected governor and to focus on job creation and economic growth. The election is scheduled for November 8, 2023.
